About Dr. Lim
Dr. Lim focuses her practice on mental health, focusing mostly on anxiety, depression, and ADD. She has a passion for working with mothers and children being a mother herself, although she welcomes patients from all walks of life. She uses mostly homeopathy, acupuncture, craniosacral therapy, nutrition, holistic counseling, hormone therapy, and nutritional supplements to treat underlying causes. She uses specialized testing when necessary to further individualize treatment.
Dr. Lim works with a team of medical professionals. We use a team approach to give our patients better care:
Dr. Lim works together with other N.D.’s and counselors within her practice to give her patients more comprehensive care. The doctors and counselors at her clinic get together regularly to share cases that need extra attention and support to ensure that all bases are being covered, so her patients are getting the best care possible.
Naturopathic physicians attend four-year professional level medical programs that result in a doctorate of naturopathic medicine degree (ND). Students receive the same education as an MD or DO in biomedical sciences and pharmacology, as well as cutting edge natural therapies. They complete a minimum of two years of training in clinical nutrition, acupuncture, homeopathic medicine, botanical medicine, physical medicine, and counseling. Naturopathic medical education focuses on disease prevention, finding the underlying cause of disease, and treating the body’s organ systems to restore health rather than just palliating symptoms.
One of the main differences is the sheer amount of time you get to spend with your doctor. When you go to a typical doctor’s visit, how much time do you actually get to spend one-on-one with your doctor? Ten to fifteen minutes? Our visits are structured so you spend the entire visit with your doctor. This enables the doctor to truly getting to know you and be better able to address your concerns and fosters a strong doctor-patient relationship. You are also able to communicate with Dr. Lim directly if you have simple questions via email.
Another difference is the approach that an ND takes. We focus on disease prevention, finding the underlying cause of disease, and treating the body’s organ systems to restore health rather than just palliating symptoms. We use mostly natural and lifestyle therapies, however, Dr. Lim can prescribe medications when necessary. She also aids many patients in getting off of their medications.
Insurance & Payments
Sometimes! The best thing to do is to contact your insurance company and see what "out of network services" they cover.
We are always happy to provide superbills as well, which contains all of the information your insurance company needs to establish coverage and/or to apply towards your deductible for that year. Some insurance companies cover specific therapies, like acupuncture and craniosacral.

Between 80-90% of patients feel an improvement even after the first 1-2 weeks of treatment. Treatment duration depends on how long the patient has been afflicted with the illness. As a rough estimate, it takes 1/2 of the time that a person has been sick to fully heal. However, throughout that journey, they should feel substantially better on their road to better health.
